Goa, May 19 -- South Goa Member of Parliament Viriato Fernandes on Tuesday launched a new state-of-the-art cardiac ambulance at Chicalim Hospital under the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS), aiming to strengthen emergency healthcare response services in the region.

The advanced ambulance is equipped with critical cardiac care facilities designed to provide immediate medical assistance to heart patients during emergencies and while being transported to hospitals. The initiative is expected to significantly improve access to timely treatment, particularly for residents of Mormugao Taluka.
