Goa, April 12 -- Uganda's army chief, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has drawn global attention after making an unusual set of demands directed at Turkey. In a series of posts, the General called for a payment of $1 billion, citing Uganda's long-standing military role in Somalia, where its forces have been involved in countering extremist groups for years.
Alongside the financial demand, Kainerugaba added a personal request, stating that Turkey should provide "the most beautiful woman" in the country to be his wife. While the statement appeared partly humorous, it has triggered criticism for being inappropriate and sexist.
