Goa, July 21 -- The demolition of structures allegedly built in violation of Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) norms at Temwada beach in Morjim continued for the second consecutive day on Tuesday.

Authorities resumed the demolition drive as part of the enforcement of orders against alleged illegal constructions in the coastal belt.

The ongoing operation has created an atmosphere of concern and uncertainty among local residents, with many expressing fear over the impact of the demolitions on the area.

Officials continued the exercise amid security arrangements, while the action forms part of the authorities' efforts to remove structures found to be in violation of CRZ regulations.
