Goa, June 13 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that monsoon activity has slowed across Goa, with no heavy rainfall expected over the next five days. Rainfall is likely to improve after June 18, according to extended forecasts.
The Southwest Monsoon has witnessed a temporary slowdown across Goa after its initial rapid onset, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) stating that the state is unlikely to receive heavy rainfall over the next five days.
According to IMD Goa, the expected intense spells of rain during the first half of June have not materialised, resulting in a noticeable rise in temperatures across the state.
