Goa, April 7 -- Anjuna Police have solved a house theft case reported from Oxel, Siolim, arresting a 35-year-old man in connection with the crime. The case came to light after complainant Akash Vidhyadhar Narvekar reported the theft of his Redmi 10 Prime phone from his residence on April 5. Acting swiftly, police launched an investigation and traced the suspect, identified as Akhilesh, a Siolim resident originally from Uttar Pradesh. During a search operation, officers recovered six stolen mobile phones worth approximately Rs.1 lakh, belonging to different brands. Police believe the accused could be involved in multiple theft cases in the area. Further investigation is currently underway to determine the full extent of his involvement.
