Goa, June 16 -- MMC Chief Officer Madhu has stated that an inquiry into the alleged issuance of fake non-availability certificates has already been completed and a police complaint has been lodged against those accused in the case. He further informed that the officials allegedly involved have been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.

Addressing another matter, Madhu said an independent inquiry is also underway into the alleged misappropriation of Rs.17 lakh collected through the Holy Spirit feast and sopo collections, involving suspended employee Yogesh Shetkar.
