Panaji, Sept. 19 -- Miramar Beach was left littered with firecracker remnants and other waste even five days after Ganpati Visarjan, raising concerns over the impact of post-festival waste on the coastal environment.

Firecracker debris and other discarded material were found scattered across the sand and along the shoreline. The accumulation of waste has drawn attention to the need for timely clean-up measures following large-scale religious celebrations.
