Goa, April 19 -- Passengers travelling on the Rasai-Agapur ferry route experienced anxious moments on Saturday evening after the vessel's engine unexpectedly stalled mid-river. The incident occurred during peak crossing time, leaving several commuters stranded as the ferry drifted briefly with the current. With the tide rising and water flow intensifying, passengers onboard grew increasingly concerned about their safety.
Eyewitnesses reported that the ferry remained unstable for a short duration before crew members managed to regain partial control and steer it towards safety. Although no injuries were reported, the sudden breakdown created panic among passengers, many of whom were seen gathering at one end of the ferry in distress.
