Goa, June 1 -- Former MLA Mickky Pacheco has criticized the Congress High Command's decision to reappoint Girish Chodankar as president of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC), claiming that the move could further weaken the party in the state.

Expressing concern over the leadership decision, Pacheco pointed to the party's recent electoral setbacks and a series of defections that have affected the Congress organisation in Goa.
