Goa, April 10 -- A video from Madhya Pradesh showing thousands of litres of milk being poured into the Narmada River has gone viral, igniting a heated debate over the balance between religious faith, environmental responsibility, and public welfare.
The footage has been traced to a large religious gathering at the Shri Dadaji Darbar Pataleshwar Mahadev Temple located in Satdev village of Sehore district. The event was held during Chaitra Navratri and spanned 21 days, from March 18 to April 7.
