Goa, July 15 -- Authorities carried out a coordinated enforcement drive across Margao on the directions of PWD Minister and Margao MLA Digambar Kamat, targeting public nuisance, unauthorised roadside vending and illegal encroachments.

During the operation, several individuals found creating inconvenience in public spaces were taken into custody and shifted to the El Shaddai Beggars' Home for rehabilitation and further assistance. Officials said the initiative focused on both enforcement and welfare.

Action was also initiated against unauthorised roadside vendors and illegal encroachments in accordance with the law. Authorities said the drive was aimed at improving civic discipline and ensuring public spaces remain accessible.
