Goa, Sept. 19 -- The Margao JMFC Court has granted conditional bail to Mohan Kumar G, a 25-year-old resident of Bengaluru, who was arrested by the Cyber Crime Police in connection with an alleged Rs.35.9 lakh cheating case involving a Margao resident.

According to the case, Kumar and his associates allegedly defrauded the victim as part of a "digital arrest" scam, in which the accused allegedly impersonated police officials to convince the victim that they were involved in a legal case.

The Cyber Crime Police arrested Kumar in connection with the alleged fraud, following which he was produced before the Margao JMFC Court.
