Goa, June 4 -- A disagreement between two local youths in Mapusa has reignited discussions on waste management and civic responsibility in the town after an argument broke out over the dumping of garbage on a public road.

According to local residents, the confrontation began when one youth was allegedly seen disposing of garbage along a roadside. Another resident objected to the act and confronted him, leading to a heated exchange between the two.

Sources said the youth accused of dumping the waste defended his actions by claiming that garbage collection had not been carried out in the area for some time, leaving residents with limited options for disposing of their household waste.
