Goa, June 6 -- The Additional Sessions Court in Mapusa has rejected a fresh bail application filed by history-sheeter Tarzan Parsekar in connection with the 2022 attempt-to-murder case involving Ravi Shirodkar, which was registered by the Anjuna Police.

In its order, the court observed that the accused could not seek the benefit of delays in the trial when those delays were a direct consequence of his own actions. The court noted that Parsekar had absconded from the law, contributing significantly to the prolonged proceedings.

Holding that an accused cannot rely on self-created delays as a ground for bail, the court dismissed the application and allowed the trial process to continue.
