Goa, Aug. 25 -- The Mapusa Additional Sessions Court has rejected the bail application of Fahad Mohd Sajid Ansari, a Mumbai resident arrested in connection with the seizure of 23.832 kg of hydroponic cannabis at Mopa International Airport in March.

Ansari was arrested following the seizure of the suspected contraband at the airport. The case relates to the alleged trafficking of hydroponic cannabis through Mopa International Airport.

The court, after hearing the matter, denied Ansari's bail plea, meaning he will remain in custody as the investigation into the case continues.
