Goa, May 7 -- As of early May 2026, mango prices in Goa have started easing after an unusually expensive early season, as fresh arrivals in the market improve supply. While premium varieties still command high rates, the overall trend shows a steady decline from the peak prices seen in February and March.
The popular Goan Mankurad mango, considered the state's favourite, is now selling between Rs.1,500 and Rs.3,000 per dozen at retail markets. Earlier in the season, prices had reportedly touched as high as Rs.5,000-Rs.7,000 per dozen due to limited availability. Despite the fall, select large and high-quality fruits continue to fetch premium rates.
