Goa, Aug. 20 -- An assault was reported on the Kadamba Bypass service road near V2 Shopping Mall after a man was allegedly attacked while recording a group of people.

According to the complaint, the man was travelling from Old Goa towards Panaji with a companion when they began recording the group. The situation reportedly escalated after the group noticed the recording and confronted them.

The complainant allegedly sustained bruises and bite marks during the altercation, while his mobile phone was also damaged.

He later underwent a medical examination and lodged a complaint at the Old Goa Police Station. Further investigation is underway.
