Goa, April 8 -- A major fire broke out at a scrapyard in Zuarinagar on Tuesday (April 8) evening, sending thick plumes of smoke into the sky and triggering panic among nearby residents. The cause of the fire remains unknown, officials said.

Fire brigade teams rushed to the scene and worked continuously to douse the flames and prevent the blaze from spreading to adjoining areas. The situation was brought under control after sustained firefighting efforts.
