MAINA-CURTORIM, Nov. 4 -- Residents of Maina-Curtorim staged a protest outside the village panchayat office opposing a proposed mega project in the village, citing concerns over water availability and inadequate road infrastructure.

The protesters expressed concern over the existing water shortage in the village and questioned how residents would cope if a large-scale project further increased the demand for water.

They also highlighted the narrow roads in the area, warning that the proposed development could lead to increased traffic congestion and create further difficulties for villagers.
