Goa, Sept. 7 -- Maina-Curtorim Police have registered an FIR against a salesman for allegedly misappropriating Rs.2,24,207 collected from retail shopkeepers towards payments for Quality Wall's ice cream products.

According to police, the accused collected the money through cash and UPI transactions between March and May 2026. However, he allegedly failed to deposit the collected amount into the company's bank account.

Police further said that the salesman subsequently absconded. An investigation is underway to trace the accused and ascertain the circumstances surrounding the alleged misappropriation.
