Goa, May 28 -- A 47-year-old man from Ratnagiri in Maharashtra died at Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim, after reportedly falling from a height while cleaning solar panels in Mapusa.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Mahesh Dalvi. The incident reportedly occurred while he was carrying out cleaning work on solar panels installed at a building in Mapusa.

Dalvi sustained serious injuries in the fall and was rushed for medical treatment. Police said he later succumbed to his injuries on May 26 while undergoing treatment at GMC Bambolim.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
