Goa, Aug. 9 -- Chaos unfolded outside Funchal Cathedral in Portugal's Madeira on Saturday after thousands of football fans gathered believing that Cristiano Ronaldo and his fiancee, Georgina Rodriguez, were getting married at the historic venue.

Instead, the crowd had mistaken a local couple, Fabio Ramos and Fatima Nicole Cunha Teixeira, for the Portuguese football superstar and his partner. The couple, who are originally from Madeira but currently live in France, had to make their way through a huge gathering of excited fans to reach their own wedding ceremony.
