Goa, Oct. 8 -- Asian Games 2026 gold medallist and Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain has joined the Delhi Police in a women's safety campaign, participating in a foot-patrolling initiative at the Rajouri Garden market area.

Borgohain accompanied women police personnel during the patrol on Monday as part of an effort to improve safety and create greater confidence among women travelling and moving around public spaces.

Speaking to ANI, the boxer welcomed the initiative and said that efforts to enhance women's safety from different angles could have a positive impact in the future.

"I think this is a major initiative by the Delhi Police, working on women's safety and conducting patrols. It feels great to be a part of this," Borgohain said....
