Goa, May 18 -- During a visit to the recent landslide site, Sankalp Amonkar and South Goa Collector Egna Cleetus inspected the affected area along with other officials and authorities.

Speaking during the inspection, Sankalp Amonkar stated that he had earlier warned the contractor about potential risks during a detailed joint inspection conducted at the site.

South Goa MP Viriato Fernandes criticised the execution of the work, alleging that an unscientific method had been adopted to save time and money without proper planning or technical investigation.
