India, March 17 -- Residents of Kundaim, particularly from Manas Wada, have alleged illegal fishing activities by a group of individuals locally referred to as 'Pantlekars'.

According to locals, the individuals were recently caught red-handed following complaints that were first raised about a month ago. Residents suspect that those involved are coming from the Banastari area.

Villagers further claimed that they have faced threats when questioning the individuals about the alleged activities, creating an atmosphere of fear in the locality.
