Goa, May 30 -- The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court in Margao on Friday remanded all five accused arrested in connection with the alleged assault on a minor boy at the KTC Bus Stand to five days of police custody.

The accused were produced before the court following their arrest as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident, which had sparked concern among the public.

After hearing the matter, the court granted police custody of the accused for five days to facilitate further investigation into the case.

Police are expected to use the custody period to gather additional evidence, record statements, and ascertain the circumstances leading to the alleged assault.
