Goa, July 27 -- Residents of Kosti village in Goa staged a one-day peaceful protest against the Jennifer Livestock piggery farm, alleging that foul odour and related disturbances from the facility are disrupting their daily lives. As part of the protest, villagers offered Charane at the local temple, seeking divine support for their campaign. They urged authorities to take immediate action to address the alleged nuisance. The Deputy Collector and Sanguem Mamlatdar later visited the site with the village sarpanch, panch members and local residents to inspect the area and hear the grievances raised by the community.
