Goa, April 17 -- Konkani lovers and stage artists have called on the public to gather at Lohia Maidan on April 19 at 4 p.m. to show their support for the Konkani language.

The public meeting aims to raise awareness about the importance of preserving and promoting Konkani, while also demonstrating unity among supporters of the language. Organisers have appealed to people from all sections of society to participate in large numbers and strengthen the movement.

The initiative is expected to bring together artists, cultural enthusiasts, and citizens committed to safeguarding Goa's linguistic and cultural heritage.
