Goa, June 29 -- A kidnapping case has been registered at the Ponda Police Station following the alleged abduction of two minor boys from Upper Bazar, Ponda.

According to the police, the incident took place on June 27, when unidentified persons allegedly kidnapped the two children from the lawful guardianship of their parents.

Police have registered a case against the unknown accused under relevant provisions of the law and have launched an investigation to trace the missing boys and identify those responsible for the alleged abduction.

Further investigation is underway.
