Banastarim, June 22 -- Residents of Karmali staged a protest outside the Public Works Department (PWD) office at Banastarim on Monday, objecting to the issuance of a water availability certificate for a proposed mega project in their area.

The protesters expressed concerns over the availability of water resources and questioned whether the region could support the additional demand that the large-scale development would generate. They argued that local residents are already facing challenges related to water supply and urged authorities to reconsider the decision.
