K2 Airways Cargo Plane With Five Crew Members Goes Missing Off Karachi Coast
Goa, July 8 -- A K2 Airways Boeing 737 cargo aircraft carrying five crew members has gone missing off the coast of Karachi after reporting a navigation system malfunction, prompting a large-scale search and rescue operation.
According to initial reports, the cargo aircraft experienced a navigation system problem while approaching Karachi and lost contact with air traffic control during its descent.
Following the loss of communication, Pakistan's aviation authorities launched an extensive search operation with support from the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force to locate the missing aircraft and its crew.
