Goa, May 7 -- The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has responded after the BCCI shifted the IPL 2026 final from Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium to Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium. The title clash is scheduled for May 31, with Ahmedabad continuing its run as a preferred knockout venue.
KSCA spokesperson Vinay Mruthyunjaya said the association has not received any official explanation from the BCCI regarding the change. While acknowledging that venue selection rests entirely with the board, he said no formal communication has clarified the reason behind the decision.
