Goa, April 7 -- Bengaluru police have busted an illegal IPL ticket black-marketing racket, arresting 11 individuals and seizing items worth Rs.4.53 lakh. The operation was carried out on April 5 during the high-profile IPL clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
According to officials, the Special Enquiry Squad of the Central Crime Branch conducted coordinated raids within the jurisdictions of Cubbon Park and Chamarajapet police stations. A total of seven cases have been registered in connection with the illegal sale of match tickets.
