Goa, April 17 -- Injuries continue to disrupt the Indian Premier League 2026, with several key players ruled out or sidelined mid-season. While teams had already dealt with pre-tournament fitness setbacks, the situation has worsened as the competition progresses.
The latest additions to the injury list include Khaleel Ahmed of Chennai Super Kings and David Payne of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma is also dealing with a hamstring issue, and his availability remains uncertain.
Several players have been ruled out entirely, forcing franchises to bring in replacements, while others are still awaiting medical clearance or approval from their respective boards.
