IndiGo flight makes safe emergency landing at Mopa
Goa, Sept. 2 -- A Delhi-bound IndiGo flight made a safe emergency landing Manohar at International Airport, Mopa, on Tues day morning after one of its engines developed a technical snag shortly af ter takeoff. All 229 passen gers and crew members on board were safely evacu ated, and no injuries were reported. IndiGo flight 6E 2102 departed from North Goa at 9.16 am for Delhi. About 30 minutes into the flight, the aircraft developed an engine-related technical problem, prompting the pilots to turn back to Mopa, according to sources. Following standard op erating procedures, the Air Traffic Control (ATC) declared a full emergen cy at 9.30 am.
