Goa, Oct. 4 -- An Indian-run pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Ukraine's Sumy region was severely damaged after Russian drones struck the area on Sunday, killing one person and injuring several others, according to Ukrainian officials.

The plant belongs to the Kusum Group, an Indian-origin pharmaceutical company that has operated in Ukraine for several years. The main structure of the facility was reportedly mostly destroyed in the attack. The number of casualties could rise as authorities continue assessing the damage.
