Goa, Oct. 26 -- An Indian aviation enthusiast has brought the experience of flying in one of the world's most luxurious airline suites into his Dubai apartment by acquiring and restoring a section of Etihad Airways' exclusive Airbus A380 Residence.

Arun Rajagopal, who has travelled extensively and developed a deep fascination with aviation, transformed the damaged aircraft interior into a functional living space. The project took nearly a year to complete and was finished in June 2026, turning an unusual piece of aviation history into a personal retreat.
