Goa, Sept. 6 -- India and Japan are set to meet in a historic one-off T20I on September 22 at the Sano International Stadium in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. The match will be played ahead of the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya and will mark the first-ever senior men's T20I between the two nations.

However, fans hoping to watch the landmark fixture live may have to wait a little longer for confirmation of the broadcast arrangements, with the television and streaming partners yet to be officially finalised.
