Goa, April 13 -- With global oil and gas supply chains disrupted due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, India has launched a special diplomatic initiative aimed at securing energy imports as a temporary ceasefire offers some respite.
The move comes after nearly 40 days of conflict significantly impacted supply routes, prompting New Delhi to prioritise the resumption of oil and gas imports. As part of the initiative, India has established direct diplomatic outreach with key energy-producing nations, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
