Goa, Aug. 27 -- Construction of India's first bullet train corridor is progressing rapidly in Maharashtra, with significant advances recorded on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) project across Thane and Palghar districts.

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday highlighted the latest progress on the project, particularly along the 135.45-km elevated section between Shilphata in Thane district and Zaroli village near the Maharashtra-Gujarat border.
