Goa, July 28 -- India has officially invited Nepal Prime Minister Balendra Shah for a visit, marking a fresh attempt to strengthen ties between the two neighbours. The Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that an invitation has been extended, though dates are yet to be finalised. The move comes months after Shah took office, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing his willingness to deepen India-Nepal cooperation. The proposed visit is expected to help reset relations after strains during the previous government and focus on future collaboration between the two countries.
