INDIA EDGE ENGLAND IN SHOOT-OUT TO FINISH FIH PRO LEAGUE ON A HIGH
Goa, June 29 -- India signed off from their FIH Hockey Pro League campaign with a hard-fought victory over England, prevailing 3-2 in a penalty shoot-out after both teams played out a goalless draw at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in London on Sunday.
The closely contested encounter saw India produce a disciplined defensive display, with defender Sanjay earning the Player of the Match award for his commanding performance.
