Goa, May 14 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the India A squad for the upcoming ODI tri-series involving Afghanistan A and Sri Lanka A in Dambulla, Sri Lanka. The series is scheduled to begin on June 9, less than two weeks after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season.

Young batter Tilak Varma has retained the captaincy after previously leading India A during the South Africa A tour last year. Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Riyan Parag has been named vice-captain following Ruturaj Gaikwad's promotion to the senior national side.
