Goa, June 2 -- Weather department warns of lightning, strong winds reaching 40-50 kmph and isolated thunderstorms across the state.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Yellow Alert for Goa until June 6, warning of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds at isolated locations across the state.

According to the forecast, wind speeds are expected to reach between 40 and 50 kmph during thunderstorm activity, with intermittent spells of rain also likely in several areas.
