Goa, June 23 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an Orange Alert for Goa on June 25, warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall across several parts of the state. According to the forecast, some areas could receive more than 100 mm of rain within a short period, increasing the risk of waterlogging, traffic disruptions and localized flooding. Authorities have advised residents to remain vigilant, avoid unnecessary travel during intense rainfall and follow official weather updates. Emergency services are also expected to stay on standby as Goa prepares for another spell of adverse monsoon weather conditions.
