Porvorim, Sept. 19 -- An expert team from IIM-Nagpur is scheduled to inspect the newly opened Porvorim elevated corridor on Saturday as the Goa government reviews traffic arrangements and road safety measures following a fatal crash that claimed two lives shortly after the flyover was opened.

PWD Minister Digambar Kamat said future decisions on changes to traffic movement and safety arrangements will be taken based on the recommendations of the technical team.

The inspection will be conducted in the presence of PWD Principal Chief Engineer Sandip Chodnekar and other senior officials. The experts are expected to assess traffic flow, access points and other safety-related aspects and suggest measures to reduce the risk of accidents.
