Goa, May 25 -- U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Los Angeles on Saturday announced the arrest of Parminderpal Singh, a 26-year-old Indian national, during an enforcement operation conducted on May 21.

In a statement shared on X, ICE Los Angeles said that Singh was taken into custody and is currently being held pending removal proceedings.

According to the agency, Parminderpal Singh has a prior criminal record that includes charges related to vehicle theft, grand theft, trespassing, and vandalism.

ICE further stated that the accused remains in detention while immigration authorities continue legal proceedings linked to his possible deportation from the United States.
