Goa, July 17 -- A large crowd gathered at Telaulim in Navelim to witness a traditional Dhirio (bullfight), with videos and photographs from the event showing hundreds of spectators in attendance.

Despite calls being made to the Margao Police regarding the gathering, locals alleged that no action was taken to stop the event or disperse the crowd.

The incident has once again raised questions over the enforcement of the ban on traditional bullfights in Goa. Residents expressed concern over the lack of police intervention despite authorities reportedly being informed while the event was underway.
