Goa, Oct. 6 -- India's formal job market showed signs of moderation in the April-June quarter, but flexible staffing continued to expand, with technology, manufacturing and consumer-facing businesses emerging as key sources of employment.

The formal flexi workforce increased 2.6% quarter-on-quarter during the first quarter of financial year 2026-27 and grew 7.5% compared with the same period last year, according to the latest Flexi Staffing Employment Trends Report released by the Indian Staffing Federation (ISF).
