Goa, Nov. 7 -- The High Court of Bombay at Goa has issued a strict prohibition on all music played via loudspeakers and sound amplifiers from midnight (12:00 AM) to 6:00 AM, effective overnight from November 7 to November 8, 2026.

This state-wide ban covers all events, venues, public streets, and private sound setups across Goa. District Collectors and Superintendents of Police in North and South Goa will enforce compliance. Violators face immediate administrative and police action, with names reported directly to the High Court Registry for contempt of court proceedings.
